A disappointing game. For all their spending I didn't think that City looked particularly impressive, in fact for the first 20 minutes, despite the goal, I thought we played very well and made them look pretty ordinary. Beyond that I thought that our busy schedule was beginning to show. The substitutions nearly paid off. Duff and Davies continue to flatter their colleagues by showing great skill in controlling bad passes and making them playable. After a skilful build up, I thought that Okaka should have done better with his shot wide of the post, as for Riise's shot in the dying moments, I guess that summed up the game.

Would've been nice to get something from it, but we all know what the focus is at present.
