'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hodgson on that reverse!

After going down in what we`d call a rather tame manner, Roy Hodgson tried to put a brave face on matters during his after match press conference.

Roy, knowing that time is fast running out in his quest to keep us up, had this to say,

"I would think Boro are pretty much out of danger now. It`s easy for me to say that when my team is in the bottom three and I look upwards at a team with so many points. I certainly don`t think Gareth will be nonchalant about it."

"We have to try to take some positives. We`ve only scored seven goals away from home this season but I still thought we put them to the test."

"I can`t sit here and say I`m gutted at the performance. We go away after an encouraging display but a bitterly disappointing result."

All I`ll say is

"Was he watching the same game as me?"
