Hangeland - Six Minutes!

Hangeland - Six Minutes!

Amongst the plethora of signings already made by Roy Hodgson, one man stands head and shoulders above the others.

Brede Hangeland, bought in to add some height and stability to our defence, has started his Fulham career well since joining from FC Copenhagen.

The Norwegian, speaking ahead of the trip to the Riverside Stadium, took time out to speak to the media, this is what he had to say,

"It has been a bit of a whirlwind but so far it has gone well."

"The Premier League is the place to be. In Norway everyone follows this league and it`s been an ambition of mine for many years to play here."

"I know that people say it takes six months to settle. I have to try and shorten that period of time - to almost six minutes."

"Of course it`s a big difference, it`s a much more physical league, it`s faster and I have to adapt as quickly as possible."

On the present evidence, it shouldn`t be too much of a problem!
