'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Who is Toni Kallio?

Date of Birth: 1978-08-09
Place of Birth: Tampere, Finland
Height: 6'4 ft
Weight: 13st 3lbs

Must admit I had no idea who he was or if he's any good. So I decided to try and find out as much as I can about him and this is what I found.

First of all he is truly loved by the Finnish. A lot of people say he is great and 'The best Finnish defender ever. Better than Hyppia'.

Other sources suggest that Wenger and Benitez were interested in him. Not sure how (if at all) true these are but there must be a reason for him being linked with the big boys.

I have also read reports from his Finland international games. Apparently he made C.Ronaldo look like a fool when Portugal played Finland in Helsinki and the reverse fixture in their resent Euro qualifiers.

Hope that fills in some blanks on what seems to be a surprise package brought in by Roy.

I'm not sure the sources are reliable or not, but it at least gives us some indication about him
