'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Aaron misses Steven

During the January window we brought in many new faces including new midfielder Andreasen. This plus Bullard returning meant there was little chance youngster Steven Davis would feature. With this fact we saw him leave to Rangers on loan for the rest of the season and it isn't just me that is slightly unhappy about this move. Our stand-in skipper Aaron Hughes has admitted that he is surprised that Steven Davis has been allowed to join Glasgow Rangers.

'I'm a little surprised we have let him go as I rate him very highly but he has a chance to go out and play regular football at a big club,' said Hughes.

'Maybe he was not going to play as much between now and the end of the season.

'I suppose he will be fighting for honours at the top of the table rather than struggling against relegation.'

Well Orange emu, i disagree with your view on Davis but as they say on the forums it`s about opinions, i for one am glad he`s gone and i hope i do not see him in our shirt again.
