Hodgson Preaches Caution!

Hodgson Preaches Caution!

It`s only three points the critics will cry!

It`s only our third win of the season we`ve every reason to crow, we`d willingly reply!

However, some twenty-fours hours after that victory, it is perhaps time to sit back and realise that we`ve still got a lot to do, starting with a trip to Middlesbrough next weekend.

After the game yesterday, Roy Hodgson spoke about the achievement and tried to keep everyone`s feet firmly on the ground by remarking,

"It gets us on the road to recovery. We have more than matched one of the better teams in the Premier League."

"Ask me at the end of the season whether this is a turning point. We are still adrift."

We might be Roy but one win, allied with some poor performances from our rivals, could see us climb out of the relegation zone!

Three points that all it feckin was - you need forty-ish to stay up - a long way to go!

I bet you that plenty of (or at least some) teams with less than forty points stay up this season mate.

There`s no way forty will be needed this season, and it was not just the three points on Sunday, as a continuation from the draw on Tuesday we are improving, we have returning important players, it is a new team now, with fighters in it, a team which will not give up ten minutes from the final whistle. A team for survival.

If we win at Boro we have all the chance of staying up, and we will
