Sanchez! What Have You Done?

Here we are having reached a weekend and there is nowt to do!

Thanks to Bristol Rovers we have no football match to discuss. Therefore, my mind starts to wander and everyone knows that can be a dangerous thing!

All week we`ve been pontificating about likely arrivals at Craven Cottage.

Some have signed and others haven`t whilst some opted, after a little nudge, to go for the delights of Wigan Pier as opposed to the River Thames.

Sadly, something is starting to gnaw away at me, something that I`ve suspected to be true for many a week now!

With it being the transfer window, I half expected a few enquiries for some of our players, from what I can recall there have been none.

Therefore, is that little devil on my shoulder right to suggest that Lawrie Sanchez has saddled us with a right old load of rubbish?

so the penny is finally dropping!
merlin
not all his signings were poor. The reason we're where we are is because of his poor tactical decisions, especially later on in games. I would also be interested in how many points baird has cost us!
oranje_emu
baird or omozusi then? you seem to have criticised both in recent weeks!
merlin
I dare not criticise omozusi! He is fantastic! Baird has cost us more!
oranje_emu
Who would want who in our squad ?, apart from Bully, who has yet to be fully fit. There is not one player to attract any takers in the Prem.
martintheveg
You could also ask, Who saddled us with the clown Sanchez ?.
martintheveg
Davies*
oranje_emu
thats a good question martintheveg!! You can understand why they went for him. however even after the 5 games at the end of last season he didn't show us why he should be kept as manager on a full time basis. I would add Konch, Hughes, Dempsey and Davis to the list of premiership quality players.
