Nevland Transfer Update!

After having our initial bid rejected by Groningen, their captain, Erik Nevland is still hopeful of moving to Craven Cottage.

Wiith one bid for his former striker rejected, Hodgson looks set to press on with a larger offer to entice the player who joined Manchester United at nineteen years of age but failed to make an impact.

Nevland remains keen to come to Craven Cottage and has remarked to the local press,

'I have always wanted to play in the Premier League and this is my chance.'

'I am very uncertain what will happen. I know Groningen rejected an offer, but of course I hope the club will let me go.'
