Fulham - Got Competition?

We`ve already mentioned that the Watford manager, Adrian Boothroyd, has suggested that Fulham have competition for the signature of Marlon King, now we can bring you more.

According to stories doing the rounds, stories that contain several vital quotes form Boothroyd, this is how the Watford manager views the situation,

'It is an ongoing saga this one, it is getting like Neighbours or Home and Away."

'The situation is that we are still talking to Fulham."

'Since the weekend I have had one or two enquiries from two other Premier League clubs - which from our point of view is good."

'But it is ongoing. I don't actually know whether Marlon is going to be playing for Fulham, the other two, or coming back to Watford."

'He has played in every game this season and he has trained in every single training session we have had."

'Fulham have been very thorough, and obviously he had a knee operation which everybody knows about, but he has proved himself (fitness-wise)."

'Perhaps Fulham have had second thoughts or changed their mind on one or two things. I don't know about Fulham, I can only tell you what I know.'

Does that make the picture any clearer?
