Roy in the know!

With the end of the transfer window coming quick Roy has all at once started bringing in the new faces. But who and where has he been bringing in?

First of all, what is glaringly obvious about our team? We it's height! Without a doubt we have one (if not the) shortest team! Sanchez (at his cost) didn't seem to see this as a problem. So Hodgson's first signing was that of Brede Hangeland, a 6 foot 5 strong commanding defender.

Next up is the lack of defensive element to our midfield, face it guys Smertin hasn't been half the player he was at the start of the season. So Roy brings in Leon Andreasen a highly rated holding midfielder.

Next is our rapidly declining strike force. We started the season guns blazing all the way to the pompey game at home! Then suddenly it all stopped. So Hodgson brings in Johnston, Cousin and possibly if all goes as planned King, who all bring with them height, power, pace and proven goal records.

All in all it is obvious that Roy knows what he needs to do to give us all the best of a chance to keep us up.

Cousin could be "twenty minutes" short of signing. Smith is quoted as saying the decision rests with fifa.
