Johnson Finally Signs!

Fulham have announced that the Kansas City Wizards striker, Eddie Johnson, has signed for the club.

After successfully securing a work permit, the twenty-three year old striker has put pen to a three and a half year deal.

Johnson is viewed as an essential acquisition by Roy Hodgson, who had this to say to the media,

"I`ve made no secret of the fact that I believe the squad lacks a certain balance in specific areas of the team and following the loss of Brian McBride to injury, this is true of our strike force."

"At six feet one inch, Eddie has the presence that will complement the other forwards within our squad and he has the ability to offer us another dimension to our attacking play."

Hopefully, Johnson will make his Fulham debut in the clash at Bolton on Tuesday night.
