King - Two Scenario`s?

The leading tabloids are offering differing views on the Marlon King situation.

In order to spare their blushes we won`t name the source of each of the differing threads, however, we would like to point out that one is suggesting the deal is almost done whilst the other is suggesting something far different.

Possibly, in an attempt, to put the squeeze on us, Aidrian Boothroyd is being reported as suggesting that two other Premier League clubs are also interested in signing the striker.

Could it be a case of put up or shut up?
