Get Real Stefanovic!

After getting sent off in the dying seconds of our disasterous FA Cup exit at the hands of Bristol Rovers, you`d have thought our defender, Dejan Stefanovic might have been tempted to keep silent.

Instead there`s a quote in the Evening Standard tonight that has me pulling my hair out.

Supposedly, when reflecting on our cup exit, Stefanovic has said,

This might actually work in our favour as we need to focus on the Premier League."

"Whether the FA Cup has been a big distraction, I don`t know but hopefully the defeat will help - we`ll see."

Now he`s either been misquoted or he`s a bit thick!

Distracted, feck me we only played one round!

The FA Cup was meant to bring us some relief from the daily grief inflicted upon us, surely it wasn`t too much to expect us to beat Bristol Rovers and then Barnet to get into the last sixteen was it?

youve got some nasty fixtures to focus on, and i didnt really see you getting much from the fa cup anyway, although it will hurt your confidence.
wot, can't you see Fulham gracing the arch at Wembley?
i cant see how losing to a lower league side in the fa cup can be a good thing - dejan what are you saying... unless of course as said he is misquoted? i think you fellas will do well to stay up this season, hodgson has a job on his hands i feel...
miracle is what's needed down there!
yep big miracle like three huge investors (hee Hee)

Having seen both cup games, I think Stefanovic is right. You will be better off without him now he is suspended.

I hate players that say that! what do they mean by we can focus on the league? surley all that means is the have to play less games!
