Bullard - Give Me Games!

On a night when perhaps the performance of Jimmy Bullard was the only major positive point as we crashed out of the FA Cup, it`s interesting to hear Jimmy talk about his comeback.

It`s been a long sixteen months in the wilderness, a time that must have seemed like an eternity, but now it`s a time Jimmy is relishing as he bids to make up for lost time.

After playing for the full two hours last night, there is every chance Jimmy will be feeling a little stiff this morning especially considering the distances he covered. Nevertheless, Jimmy remains bubbly about the future and had this to say prior to the Rovers clash,

"There are no doubts at the back of my mind. I always said if there were then I couldn`t play. That`s why I`ve taken my time, sixteen months. They said twelve to fifteen months when I did it and I took my time and it feels awesome."

"When I`m running out there I`m not thinking about my knee. If there`s a tackle to win I`ll go in for it in the way I always have. Physically it`s fine on the knee. I`ve just got to get more minutes under my belt."

"I just need games; I want to play in every game for Fulham."

So do we want you to play in every game Jimmy, your endeavour could be the difference between survival and Championship oblivion!
