Collins John - Chasing the Lady!

With the Marlon King transfer still nestling in the realms of uncertainty, it would seem that Collins John, who was supposedly part of the King deal, will still be going to Watford regardless.

In fact Adrian Boothroyd, the Watford manager, has revealed how, in the past, he`d already tried to sign the striker but was snubbed. It appears that Boothroyd is hoping to end a year long wait by finally bringing Collins John to Vicarage Road regardless of the king situation.

This is what he had to say,

'I tried to get him a year ago last January and he turned us down."

'When somebody does that, it's like a woman saying no to you. It just makes you even more determined to get them."

'It's been agreed whatever happens with Marlon. He's a massive talent with great physique; he's exceptionally quick with a great goal scoring record."

'Hopefully he'll come here and the environment that we've got will help him thrive.'

I for one wish he was to get a chance at Fulham under Hodgson as I believe he has the ability to be our next big star!
