Fulham Target Nevland!

Fulham Target Nevland!

If the rumours are true then Fulham are about to sign the Norwegian international Eric Nevland.

The thirty year old is currently contracted to the Danish side Groningen after leaving Viking three and a half years ago. Previous to that Nevland spent a spell at Old Trafford but never made that vital breakthrough.

In recent times, Nevland has come to prominence after scoring forty three times in ninety two starts. This form now looks set to earn him a move to England

Nevland and Hodgson have worked together previously, at Viking, and his ex-boss looks set to hand the Norwegian a two year contract.

Nevland had this to say on matters,

'It was always a dream for me to play in the Premier League. This is the
chance of my life'

'I understand it is a difficult decision for Groningen to let me go, but this year I will be 31."

'Personally I prefer to end the season here, but that is not an option. It's now or never. I hope they will cooperate and I think I deserve that.'

Anyone else see a scenario similar to the Sanchez and Ireland one developing here?

but he's already failed to impress at Man United so he'd be a risk wouldn't he? I'm not sure!
