Guglielmo Stendardo Update!
Earlier this week we intimated that Roy Hodgson was looking to re-force his defence with the signing of Guglielmo Stendardo.
Stendardo is currently plying his trade at Lazio and at six foot three inches would add a bit of height to our defence.
Stendardo was originally thought to have been a target for Tottenham, however, it is being reported that Juande Ramos has now pulled out of the race to sign him leaving us to fight it out with Birmingham City and Celtic.
This could well in our opinion, be one that gets away, especially with Hodgson having already secured the services of our Norwegian import.
We`ll endeavour to keep you informed.
