Hodgson on the Arsenal Defeat!

Okay, it was the sort of game we never thought we`d really win, especially considering our recent form; however, a 3-0 home reverse isn`t exactly how we`d imagined things would pan out.

Nevertheless, it`s time to knuckle down and pull together in our attempts to beat the dreaded drop and perhaps reflections on this defeat should be kept to a minimum.

Here`s a brief extract of what Roy had to say regarding the defeat,

"When the second goal went in there was a certain amount of weariness."

"I don`t feel that the players have given up on the task, but when you have to score three goals against Arsenal, you know it is going to be hard."

The churlish amongst us might suggest to Roy that to score three we`d need three shots on target and that we wouldn`t have to score three if we kept things tighter at the back!
