Scharner Bid Rejected?

Scharner Bid Rejected?

Yesterday, we reported that a leading tabloid was carrying an article whereby we`d supposedly made an offer for the versatile Wigan player, Paul Scharner.

The offer was in the region of £3 million and we here at Vital Fulham suggested that Scharner would be an ideal purchase.

Able to play in defence or midfield and also with an eye for a goal or two, Scharner could well have been the one to inject that little something into the team that we`ve been missing this season.

Sadly, it would appear that the Wigan Athletic manager, Steve Bruce, feels exactly the same.

Today, the same tabloid is running an article whereby we can safely conclude that if Fulham did indeed make an offer we`ve more or less been told to, in very plain English,

"Get Stuffed"

I guess life isn`t always a bed of roses then!
