'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Buoyant Bullard!

It`s good to see Jimmy Bullard back in a Fulham shirt. His fleeting reappearance, at Upton Park, gives us a glimmer of hope with regards to Premier League survival. Thankfully, Jimmy feels the same way.

After having recovered from a dislocated kneecap, an injury the worlds leading knee surgeon described as the worst he`d seen, Jimmy had this to say about coming back after an absence of some sixteen months,

"It (knee) felt brilliant, stronger than ever."

"There were no problems and I just want to get more minutes under my belt."

"At the start I definitely felt I would never come back. Those thoughts went through my head."

"But you have got to be strong. When I was told I was in the squad at West Ham I was like a kid on Christmas Eve. I was so excited. I didn`t get to sleep until the early hours. I am just so happy to be back playing footie"

And we`re delighted to see you back as well Jimmy.

anyone know if he's playing tonight?

I wouldn`t have wanted to see Jimmy play in these conditions tonight, too risky, too soon, Hope he`s in for Saturday though. If Jimmy felt like an excited kid at Christmas eve imagine how us fans felt, we have all shared his pain and frustration.
