Hodgson on West Ham result!

With a meagre fifteen points on the board from twenty-two games played, it`s getting to be squeaky-bum time.

Yesterday`s loss saw us drop five points behind safety at the bottom but our new manager, in his third game in charge, remains optimistic, remarking,

"I`m not too dissatisfied. It was quite an even game and we had two or three good chances to equalise near the end."

"We don`t have the choices in certain positions and we`ll work hard in the rest of the month to bring some player sin."

"The balance of the team is not quite as we would like it. But staying up is going to be tough - the only heart we can take is that it will be tough for a few teams down there."

Hurry up with those signings Roy, there`s only eighteen days to go!

What The F**k how can he say that we are 5 points away from saftey! and that even if wigan don't get any more points
Backslash2010
You muppet! The five points comment refers to the fact that we are five points behind the other teams above us, all of which, apart from Sunderland, are currently not in the relegation zone. It does not, repeat not, imply we only need five points from the rest of the season in order to survive!

bad result for you lads today with Sunderland winning! Trust Pompey to let Harry down after he gave them a vote of confidence!
