Fulham - Murphy Praised!

When Danny Murphy was signed in a last gasp swoop in the summer transfer window, a lot of eyebrows were raised.

Thankfully, Danny has fully justified his signing and has been man-of-the-match in our last two games.

Indeed, it was only his artistry and continual cajoling that ensured we live to fight another day in the FA Cup.

Quite rightfully, the thirty year old has been praised by the new management team of Hodgson, Lewington and Kelly with Hodgson remarking,

"Danny, with his experience, will be a very close ally to people like myself and coaches Mike Kelly and Ray Lewington."

"We`ve been very happy with the way he`s embraced the new management team and what he`s doing on the field in order to try and help us make the team better."

"Hopefully, his experience and attitude will rub off on some of the other players and they will maybe get a bit more confidence back."

Wholesome, and well deserved praise, well deserved.

He's come good when many were writing him off!
He was VERY good yesterday! One of lawrie's better ideas!!
He did say when joining that if winning a regular place in the team he had time to make up after the disappointment at Spurs, we are now seeing D.M. making up for lost time. I`m sure he will play an important part in our survival.
along side bullard!! I was thinking about our team the other day and thought of this starting 11 (with Macca and bully still out). Niemi, junior, Hughes, Christinval, Konchesky, Davies, Murphy, Brown, Kamara, Dempsey, John. That would mean kamara playing on the left wing- he has pace a skill to cause most wingbacks problems. If both Christinval and Hughes aren't back yet then obviously stick with Bocca and Dejan. I also thought bring in young brown as Smertin hasnt shown his earlier season form and maybe brown could bring something different with him. Get john back from his loan!!!
Finally someone who thinks the same as me John was a good player and we need a good striker as healy isn't hitting the mark.
