Roy Puts His Finger on it!

Roy Puts His Finger on it!

Roy Hodgson has now been in charge for two games, two home games. In that time we`ve scored three times but managed to concede four, a worrying statistic.

However, Roy, using all his experience, has been quick to notice that all four goals conceded have come in a similar manner, namely from set pieces.

Here`s what he had to say,

"One obvious thing wrong is I`ve had two games with the team and we`ve conceded four goals, all from set plays. That`s something we`ve got to consider and put right."

Methinks that training this week could well see a lot of work done on defending set pieces, don`t you?

Merlin, he was o.k. at first, seemed to lose interest, also would take time out even for a grazed finger especially after the A.N. cup, he was more interested in time off.
