Hodgson on That Result!

The morning after the night before, I must admit I`m a little relieved that we`re still in the FA Cup.

Bristol Rovers matched us in every department and can consider themselves unlucky to have to bother with a replay.

In fact, the result has put into perspective just how much work Roy Hodgson has to do.

Thankfully, Roy is experienced enough to be able to grasp how much work he has to do.

In his post match interview, he was quick to get a few matters straight; this is what he had to say,

"After drawing with a team two leagues below, you can`t say you`re happy."

"But you have to remember what has gone on before and remember the players are low on confidence."

"They have no reason to be ashamed. They did well to come back twice."

"I will be looking to sign some players."

"But I am anxious not to take enormous chances on players who don`t fit my profile."
