Hodgson to spend wisely!

Hodgson to spend wisely!

With £15 million to spend, reportedly, there are a number of rumours in circulation about who Roy Hodgson is going to buy this January.

However, the man himself is surprisingly realistic when it comes to the window.

Ahead of the recent 2-2 draw with Bristol Rovers, this is what he had to say,

"The January transfer window is a dangerous time."

"It is a hectic period and teams have the tendency to panic buy."

"I think we`ve got to be wise. I wouldn`t like to be bringing in player son a short term basis."

"When you look at a player, you have to look at two things."

"Firstly, make sure he can improve us to keep us up."

"Secondly, he has to be good enough for next season when we will be trying to build an even stronger team."

That` my boy Roy, think carefully before you follow Lawrie`s lead and buy a load of Championship duds!
