Hodgson - Has Enough Time!

Hodgson - Has Enough Time!

In our latest poll we posed an intriguing question!

With the recent appointment of Roy Hodgson as our new manager, replacing Lawrie Sanchez, we needed to know if you believed that the board at Craven Cottage had given Roy Hodgson enough time to keep us in the Premier League.

At the time of his appointment, Roy had 19 games to preserve our top flight status. His first game saw a spirited performance, well in the first half, against a Chelsea side deprived of numerous top stars, sadly we registered another defeat.

However, there are eighteen games left and Roy has the possibility of 54 points being available to win.

He also has the added bonus of having a rumoured £15 million to spend in the January transfer window. These are two very positive pints and auger well for the future.

Therefore, we here at Vital Fulham agree wholeheartedly with our readership who voted 65% to 35% that he had been given enough time to do the job and earn his reported £1 million bonus.

On the negative side, if the usual target of 40 points is seen as the benchmark for survival, work out for yourself how many of those 54 points available we can easily lose even if we slip into a run of draws.

It`s going to be close!
