Davies - Down to Concentration!

Davies - Down to Concentration!

The appointment of Roy Hodgson took a lot of people by surprise. Indeed, Chris Baird admitted that he, personally, was expecting John Collins to take over.

However, first impressions suggest that the playing staff are right behind the new man. Indeed, our influential winger cum midfielder, Simon Davies, has stepped up to the podium and given his opinion on Hodgson remarking,

"Everyone has confidence in him. He knows what he`s talking about and we`re all eager to learn from him."

However, what is currently more worrying and something that Hodgson will need to address is our ongoing trend of poor second half performances and giving away leads that would, if we could have held on to them, seen us in the upper reaches of the Premier League.

It`s a point not lost on Davies who in a recent interview was quoted as saying,

"I think it`s becoming a psychological problem"

"We`ve got into so many good positions and let it slip away. It`s all down to concentration."

On the surface, it doesn`t seem as if it needs much correction then, so please let`s get it sorted urgently before the trap door slams shut and we find ourselves in the football abyss that is the Championship!
