Al Fayed on Hodgson!

After the shock appointment of Roy Hodgson yesterday, our owner, Al Fayed, has stepped out of the shadows to offer his vision for the future.

Here`s what he had to say,

"It is my vision to combine the best of the fantastic traditions of the English Premier League with the flair an innate professionalism of the continental game."

"This I hope will return Fulham to its tradition of playing attractive passing football."

"I believe Roy has immense experience in all areas of football and can drive Fulham forward for the long term."

"My commitment to this club has never dwindled and I am more than ever determined that we have the right man to turn around our current predicament and build for a successful future."

Unfortunately, I`m going to be churlish and ask what has Roy Hodgson achieved with this immense experience he mentioned.

I believe Blackburn Rovers fans have fond memories of his time their!

He did lead blackburn to europe first time of asking (according to wikipedia) and there must be a reason why he managed inter milan and was in the running for the england job 3 times! (thanks again wikipedia)
