Lewington on that performance!

After being thrust into the limelight on Friday and given the role of steering the good ship Fulham, temporary manager, Ray Lewington, gave his verdict on the draw against Wigan.

Lewington, who it is rumoured could well be in the running to look after the club for the foreseeable future until the board find the right man, remarked,

"When you`re down and you`ve not scored for the last three games, it is hard. So all credit to the lads for coming out and creating chances."

"I haven`t been made any promises about being manager. I`d like to do it, but I`m realistic to know that they could go outside. But I was told my name is on the list."

"Fulham have to get this appointment right. They have to get the right manager to keep us up. If it`s me, fine."

How do you feel about Ray Lewington taking over on a full time basis?

He;s got a bit of Chelsea in him (87 games) so he's halfway there!

Well he couldn't be any worse than Long ball Lawrie
pentonpompey
3 wins in 22 - now that takes some doing especially after spending all that dosh!
merlin
I'm not too keen on him! Don't know much about him, seems to have already made a positive impact after a day! So, lets see how he does at white heart lane
oranje_emu
now that's a tricky fixture - Spurs will be looking to get back to winning ways after losing at Arsenal! Have to admit Lewington would be a surprise choice - never managed at this level before has he!
merlin
We (Spurs) will beat you lot on Wednesday 4-0.
Frisky
Sure you will!! And Santa will be scoring all four right?
