Benitez on Sanchez!

After having a bit of a rough time himself in recent weeks, the Liverpool gaffer, Raffa Benitez has spoken out about the sacking of Lawrie Sanchez yesterday!

Quite what it has to do with the Spaniard though is beyond us!

Wouldn`t he be better looking after number one as the American knives start to be brandished?

Anyway, this is what he had to say,

"I have sympathy for Lawrie Sanchez. The key to being successful is time. There is too much money and a lot of pressure because everyone wants to win."

"At Liverpool we are trying to build something."

(No cracks about the proverbial jigsaw puzzle please!)

"The average age of the reserve side is 17 and we are top of the reserve table."

There is off course more but it doesn`t go on to mention Lawrie again so we`ll just ignore it shall we!
