First signing of 2008!

First signing of 2008!

With the transfer window about to open, Lawrie Sanchez has given an indication as to who he might consider signing.

The first name on the agenda, purely because he is a free agent shortly is the South Korea international, Song Chong-guk.

At twenty-eight the Korean is due to become a free agent when his contract with K-League club Suwon Samsung Bluewings expires.

Reportedly speaking to the Seoul Daily Sports, Sanchez has remarked,

"If he is ready, he will have a trial."

'We are thinking about signing a full-back during the winter transfer window and Song Chong-guk could fit the bill."

'The faster he has a trial the better, it will be good if he comes to England soon."

Not a signing we would have anticipated though!
