Sanchez - Time to Go?

With another defeat scribed in the record books, we have to ask is time running out for Lawrie Sanchez?

With the far from impressive record of only 3 wins from 22 Premiership fixtures and only 2 from 16 fixtures this season, there could seriously be a case for a change.

Indeed, yesterday was probably the first time that I heard waves of discontent pouring down from the stands.

Chants of,

"You don`t know what you`re doing"

preceded the start of the second half and it`s not what we envisaged would be the scenario when Al Fayed sanctioned the spending of £25 million in the summer.

Indeed, Sanchez made a big deal about the bookies offering odds on the next manager to be sacked, slagging off such tactics as being almost inhumane, this morning I get the impression that a defeat next weekend, to Wigan, could see the axe fall!

Or am I being too dramatic?

Trouble is, if you do sack him who do you get in hi splace? It'd have to be someone who could judge what's needed ahead of the transfer window! Therefore, a sacking would have to be done pretty soon!

Is it the manager or is it a team that are not up to playing in the premiership?... Anyone can do a Jose if they have a bottomless pit of money!
