Fulham to welcome back Volz!

Fulham to welcome back Volz!

A surprise inclusion in the side to face Newcastle this weekend could be Moritz Volz.

The defender who has undergone a lengthy recuperation from an assortment of injuries has targeted this Saturday as his comeback.

After having made only two appearances this season, Volz is eager to see some action again and although he readily admits he`s short of match fitness he`d like to play a part against the Geordies remarking,

'I hope to play against Newcastle but I've only played two reserve games for an hour each and I haven't had a full game yet.'

'There's another reserve game next week but I'm ready for whenever they need me.

'I haven't played a lot of football this season, therefore Christmas with a lot of games will suit me fine and I'm really looking forward to it.

'I never like being on the sidelines so I want to play. Being on the sidelines just isn't enjoyable.'

Let`s hope his return boosts the side!
