In out latest poll we cut out all the crap and canvassed your opinion!
We wanted to know how you felt about the tenure of Lawrie Sanchez. Has he now entered that phase of his reign whereby he`s living on borrowed time?
With two straight option, Yes or No to contemplate, we thought the actual verdict might be closer than it turned out to be.
We perhaps thought that somewhere out there was a vast legion of support prepared to give Lawrie an additional crack of the whip. It appears we were wrong!
It seems that our pre-season expectations, expectations that this year we wouldn`t be flirting with relegation, have confirmed that you`re basically not a happy lot, that the euphoria of a couple of Premier League victories hasn`t been enough to satisfy your appetite.
Personally, I think we`ve entered a zone whereby a change (although probably needed) might be the wrong move. Lawrie has assembled a team that has his stamp all over it, from the influx of players he managed at international level to the signings that raised a few eyebrows.
Appointing someone else would only complicate matters.
Therefore, despite the furore suggesting Lawrie is on his last legs, I`d suggest we`re probably better off to hang on in there, see this through and just hope we come out of the tunnel, in May, with our Premier League status intact.
Then it`s time to address the matter-in-hand!
For the record the voting went as follows,
Yes - 96%
No - 4%
In our next poll, with two crucial home games coming up, we want to gauge your response regarding how many points we`ll pick up.
Please assist us and use your vote wisely!
