McBride Progress Report!

One of the saddest memories of this season so far has been the vision of Brian McBride being carried off with a serious injury.

There`s is no doubt we`ve missed the strikers courage and bravery as well as his goals.

However, there does appear to be light at the end of the tunnel and McBride could soon be back in the first team limelight despite a recent setback.

With his rehabilitation progressing, we`ve been able to obtain an update on McBrides progress with club physio, Jason Palmer, remarking,

"He had some fluid drained off his knee and some cortisone injected to help settle down any inflammation."

It may not seem the best of news but we`re assured that progress is being made and that the New Year is a feasible target for the striker.

We here at Vital Fulham wish Brian all the best in his fight for full fitness.

Hear hear, we have missed him big time, so has Healy, gutsy player and one that i personally admire, wish we had another few players with his attitude and work rate.

We need to think about a replacement for him as he is 35

I'd agree, not sure he'll come back the same after such a bad injury!
