In our latest poll we asked which area you believed Lawrie Sanchez should strengthen come the January transfer window!

In our current precarious position, two Premier League wins all season and faced with a trip to Old Trafford on Monday night, we thought it was an essential question.

Your response was emphatic!

You left us in no doubt that our defence is the area you`d most like to see some investment made on.

In fact I`d hazard a guess that whilst it may be entertaining to witness high-scoring score draws at Craven Cottage you`d much prefer to see Fulham scrape out a couple of 1-0 wins to move us further away form a possible relegation threat.

Therefore, with the usual fanfare, here are the results,

1st - Defence - 65%

2nd - Midfield - 22%

3rd - Attack - 13%

All that remains is to decide who we should target.

Has anyone got any suggestions?
