'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sanchez' Challenge to Murphy.

Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez has challenged ex Tottenham and Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy to get a renewed contract.

Murphy has been one of Fulham's better performers this season and had previously stated his desire to stay at Fulham beyond the current deal he is on which runs out at the end of the season.

'All current players' contracts are reviewed on an ongoing basis,' said Sanchez.

'Danny is here and has done well in the games that he has played.'

Murphy meanwhile has scored twice in nine Premier League appearances.
