'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sanchez the Conductor!

I shouldn`t have laughed but I did!

In fact it`s taken me some forty-eight hours to suppress my smile and actually put comment to article.

As the pressure mounted on Sunday and Blackburn looked the more likely to score, Lawrie Sanchez, stood in front of the dug-out, raised his arms and implored the home support, sat behind him, to make more noise.

In fact, Lawrie motioned several times with his arms but to no avail.

Instead he looked as if he was weighing up our chances of survival with his hands spread out wide akin to the 'Scales of Justice` that sit atop the Old Bailey!

Whatever next, free flags issued to get the fans singing or cheerleaders positioned in front of each stand?

Perhaps a few more hose who sit in silence every match might be more inclined to make a racket if the team actually started to win on a regular basis.

Until then can you blame them for sitting there feeling sorry for themselves when you consider the financial outlay required to watch Premier League action!

Can't you get 'Diddy' David Hamilton to get a few chants going :-)
