Konchesky Praised by Sanchez!

Lawrie Sanchez, speaking during the international break, has praised our summer signing, Paul Konchesky.

The full back, who left West Ham United to come to Craven Cottage, has settled well and although he incurred a blemish on his record with a straight red card, his enthusiasm has quickly endeared him to the supporters.

However, with Lawrie offering the following appraisal, I`m not quite sure the boys down the road at Stamford Bridge would concur with his thoughts,

"If we were higher in the table, his performances would have probably brought him to prominence with regard to England."

Nevertheless, as a confidence booster for Konchesky, it should certainly do the trick!
