Taylor a Fulham Target?

With Jimmy Bullard slowly edging towards a return to first team action, reports are suggesting that the midfield department may also get another recruit.

With the January transfer window fast approaching, several media vehicles are intimating that Lawrie Sanchez could be prepared to make an enticing bid to Portsmouth for their out of favour star, Matthew Taylor.

Taylor, who has carved out a reputation for scoring some memorable goals, has only made four starts this season and at twenty-five years of age is aware that now is not the time to let his career stall.

Whether Harry Redknapp would be prepared to weaken his squad by selling a player who was once considered England material is debatable, however, if the bid, said to be in the region of £3 million is made, there is a fair chance Taylor could make the move to Craven Cottage.

Strange that he's fallen from grace, he had a superb season last year!

He's a very good player with an eye for the goal. I wonder how much Harry would want in a brown paper bag for him?
dazza71
he also has the advantage of being able to slot in at left back!

Taylor is to good for Fulham. I reckon he would rather stay and fight for his place at Pompey.

Would he want to come to us ?.

We don't need any more midfielders with our lot, but he is good though

Would be a great signing! Would mean cover for Konch.

Alright Putney have sent you an email mate, signing Taylor in my eyes would be a good thing as he is currently vastly underused at Pompey.
