Murphy in New Deal?

After having done enough to secure a starting place in recent games, Danny Murphy is excited at the talk of being given a new contract.

The thirty year old, who appears to have rescued a career that was drifting into obscurity, signed a one year deal with Fulham last summer and is hoping that he`s done enough to convince the club to give him another deal.

Speaking recently, Danny remarked,

"If that contract came to me, I`d sign it. Hopefully I`ve shown I`m capable."

We here at Vital Fulham have no problem with giving Danny that new deal. Although his signing was something of a surprise, his performances have produced glimpses of the talent that saw the Kop give him an ovation when he appeared in front of them, playing for Fulham.
