Thinking of Liverpool!

Thinking of Liverpool!

Is anyone else thinking like me? Anyone else thinking there may be a couple of sleepless nights ahead of our clash with Liverpool on Saturday?

Earlier this week we had the temerity to suggest that there may be light at the end of the tunnel, that this weekend there may well be the small chance that Liverpool, after their Champions League exertions, may be a little drained, little tired and perhaps there for the taking.

It looks like we were wrong!

Instead, we`d like to offer a different angle now that Liverpool have scored eight at home against Besiktas. We`d like to concentrate on the facts that they could be over-confident; that they may have used their ration of goals for the month and we`re prepared to take heart from the words of Clint Dempsey who remarked recently,

We won`t be playing for a draw when we visit Anfield.

Brave words, let`s hope we can pull off the impossible and silence Anfield.

I wouldn't worry too much Benitez will probably drop Crouch and beneyoun for this game. Will he ever learn and play his strongest eleven!!!!
