Lafferty to Decline Fulham Offer!

Lafferty to Decline Fulham Offer!

Fulham`s interest in Kyle Lafferty could be about to be brought to a premature end.

It had been suggested that Lawrie Sanchez would be keen to secure his services and that Fulham were contemplating upping an offer that Burnley had rejected in the summer transfer window.

Unfortunately, it looks as if any increase could be in vain as Lafferty looks set to stay at Burnley remarking,

"I`m perfectly happy here. The gaffer knows what is best for me and I trust him."

Or is that just polite talk designed to deter any rumour mongering until both sides have agreed terms?

We`ll keep you posted.
