Kuqi the Cult!

Kuqi the Cult!

He may only have come as a substitute but Shefki Kuqi is in danger of becoming one of a dying breed, namely, a cult hero!

His appearance on Saturday may have had a few eyebrows being raised skyward but there`s no doubting his enthusiasm, his energy and his role in getting us those three vital points, endeared him to the Craven Cottage supporters.

After not playing much of a role, only twenty minutes before Saturday, Kuqi was grateful for the on-pitch time and afterwards spoke eloquently about getting his career back on track explaining,

"I can`t thank the gaffer enough for giving me another chance to play in the Premier League."

"For some reason, things didn`t work out for me at all at Palace. I was so relieved to move to Fulham. It feels like a massive weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I`m here until January and I`ll be doing my best for the club and myself."

He doesn't look fit enough for the Premier League. I am sure he will be put in his place when he comes up against some of the better defenders!

Kuqi was the main reason that our game turned around against Reading!
