Kuqi keen to play his part!

One of the most surprising additions to the squad, made by Lawrie Sanchez, was the loan signing of Shefki Kuqi from Crystal Palace!

Indeed, when Peter Taylor was removed form office at Selhurst Park and Neil Warnock took over, it was rumoured that Kuqi could well be recalled to South London keen to impress the new incumbent in the managerial chair.

However, it didn`t happen and Kuqi, who has only played for twenty-one minutes in a Fulham shirt, is keen to play his part in steering our club away from relegation remarking,

"I have to be patient, work hard and take my chance when it comes."

Sadly, I`m off the opinion that Kuqi is well down the list of possible candidates to be an automatic selection for the starting eleven and that he was recruited as something of safeguard in case we suffered injuries similar in nature to that which Brian McBride suffered.

kuqi is actually not a bad player had as decent enough a spell with us i remembertwo years ago he scored something like 9 goals in 21 appearances or something along those lines! he is also a good taget man but then again i suppose there must be a reason why sparky sold him!
