The popular Jimmy Bullard is moving a step closer to completing his rehabilitation period.

The midfield player, who has been recovering from knee ligament damage has, recently, been training with our Under 18 side as he strives to regain full fitness.

However, before we all start to jump up and down awaiting his return to the first team it should be pointed out that Jimmy has yet to join in any 'contact` football, a fact Lawrie Sanchez has been quick to point out by remarking,

"Jimmy hasn`t had someone crunch into him yet. That`s the next stage."

Let`s hope the first time he does get 'crunched` there is no adverse reaction!
