'If It's Football, It's Vital'

3x1=3 but 1x3=3?

After now having played eleven games but only accumulating nine points, it`s no secret that the editorial team of this site are a little concerned about our future.

Only the abject blandness of the teams around us is making the situation not appear as grave as we believe it is, However, in all honesty have we been on the receiving end of a thrashing this season?

The answer is a definite no!

Therefore, perhaps we should take heart form the words spoken by Lawrie Sanchez in a post match interview when he said the following,

"Teams are scoring four, five, six and seven goals against the opposition. But our 2-0 defeat to Portsmouth was our worst game of the season so it shows we can compete."

But we cannot gather three points form just one game - we are getting three points form three games and that makes things difficult for you."

Therefore, would it be churlish to suggest three points next Saturday is a necessity?

Lawrie Sanchez seems to have a lot to say, let's not forget his comments before the Derby game. "We have played a lot of tough matches recently," said Sanchez. "Now we have an important sequence coming up" "We play Derby, Sunderland and Reading - teams we should be looking to beat - and it will show if we're good enough" I think he's answered his own question, thanks for the effort!
