'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cottage Goes All International!

I`ve always been an advocate of international football, especially at U21 level, being shared around the Premier League grounds!

Well today it appears that Craven Cottage has been granted the privilege of staging a full international!

Whilst there`s never a cat in hells chance of England deciding to play down by the river, it would appear that it has proved to be an attractive proposition for Australia and Nigeria.

The fixture is scheduled to take place on 17th November and already the hype has begun.

The Football Federation Australia chief executive has remarked,

"Nigeria are the number one ranked team in Africa and will provide a very competitive match."

"It is vital we give the team another match ahead of the World Cup qualifiers."

With so many Australians living in West London, this fixture could well prove to be one that draws in the crowd and could prove to be a memorable affair.

Here`s hoping, for all our sakes, it`s a success.

I've heard the Nigerians are a noisy lot so it could be a good night, might pop down to see how Mikel does!

and hopefully the home crowd could see leiger in action seeing as sanchez wont play him and australia will

Aussie Aussie Aussie!!!!! C'mon Green and Gold! Teach those Nigerians a lesson! By the way Backslash2010, Leijer only plays in the Aussie under 23's at the moment. He will be the heart of the Australian defence after Sanchez decides to give 'im a run!
Jessus
ohh ok then but i dont think sanchez will give him a chance unless he desperatly needs to
Backslash2010
come on Mikel sort the convicts out for us!
merlin
it'll make a nice change to watch a match at Craven Cottage and not really care who wins!
