The Baird Connundrum!

In recent weeks, Chris Baird has become the target of the Craven Cottage boo-boys.

With Volz stil out injured, Lawrie Sanchez has had little choice other than to persist with the Irish defender. Unfortunately, you have you question the wisdom of that choice, especially when Lawrie himself, in a recent interview, he admitted that Baird is struggling,

Here`s what Sanchez had to say,

"I`ve had a word with Chris. He has stepped up to this level and to a certain extent I have had to leave him in the firing line."

"It takes time to step up to the Premier League and he has not played in the league before"

"In time I`m sure he will prove to be a good asset but at the moment he is still finding his feet."

Can we suggest he finds his feet pretty quickly before we take up permanent residence in the relegation places?
