Cook on the Comeback Trail!

Cook on the Comeback Trail!

Perhaps our most disappointing signing out of the plethora we made during the transfer window has been Lee Cook.

The ex-Queens Park Rangers youngster has yet to make an appearance in a Fulham shirt after succumbing to a troublesome knee injury.

Part of me wonders, whether the severity of this troublesome knee injury should have been picked up at the medical he had prior to signing.

However, that`s, as they say, all water under the bridge and we, the Fulham faithful, continue to wait for Lee to make his debut so we can assess his worth to the team.

Earlier this week my co-editor Mike, reported on how Jimmy Bullard, Brian McBride and Lee Cook are all hoping to return to the first team squad by Christmas, a point confirmed by Lee who in a recent brief interview gave the following comment,

"I want to be back to my old self and fully fit by Christmas"

If that is the case then, hopefully, Cook can play his part in steering the club away from the relegation zone.

How much did he cost to sit on the treatement table?

too much for a quaint little club like ours - we need him fit for a little bit of variety in our attacking options!
